Terms of Service

Effective date: 1 August 2026 · Last updated: 21 August 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Mokhammad Khanif Nikzad ("we", "us") for the Origin app and its related services. By downloading, installing or using Origin, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.

1. Who may use Origin

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age where you live, if higher) and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use Origin on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it to these terms.

2. Your licence

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use one copy of Origin on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in line with these terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

You may not, except where the law says you may despite this restriction:

3. Your account

You can use most of Origin without an account, as a guest. Creating one — by signing in with Google, or with Apple on iOS — enables sync and backup across devices. Origin has no password of its own; you are responsible for the security of the Google or Apple account you sign in with, and for everything done through your Origin account. Tell us promptly at originappsupport@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access. One person, one account; do not share credentials.

4. Subscriptions, trial and billing

4.1 What is free and what is paid

Tasks, calendar and focus timers are free to use. Origin Pro unlocks sync and backup, habits, workouts, alarms and full analytics. Origin contains no advertising.

4.2 Free trial

New accounts get a free trial of Origin Pro. The trial is anchored to when your account was created, it is offered once per person, and unless you subscribe it simply ends and the App returns to the free features — your data is not deleted.

4.3 Auto-renewal

This section applies to the monthly and yearly plans only — see 4.4 for Lifetime.

4.4 Lifetime

Origin Pro is also offered as a Lifetime plan: a single, one-time purchase that does not renew and that you never need to cancel. It unlocks the same features as the subscription for as long as we operate Origin, on the store account that bought it — it is not a promise that the App or its servers will exist forever, and it does not cover any future separate product. If we ever discontinue Origin entirely, section 10 applies.

5. Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, so refunds are handled under their policies and must be requested from them, not from us. Where consumer law in your country grants a statutory right of withdrawal or refund, that right applies regardless of this section.

6. Your content

Everything you put into Origin — tasks, notes, habits, workouts, weights, alarms — remains yours. You grant us only the narrow, worldwide, royalty-free licence needed to host, back up, transmit and display that content so the App can work for you, including syncing it between your devices. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

You are responsible for your content and for having the right to store it. We do not routinely review it. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose: while we take care with backups, we cannot guarantee that data is never lost.

7. Leaderboard and friends

Origin has an optional leaderboard. If you take part, other users can see your username, the character you picked, your rank and the figures the ranking is built from — focus hours, habit consistency, workout volume and the resulting Life Score. Adding a friend shows that person the same fields. Nothing else you keep in Origin is ever published.

Your username is public to other users while you take part, so do not put personal or confidential information in it. You can leave at any time by switching on Private account in Settings, which removes your row from every board.

Usernames are screened when they are chosen, and are subject to section 8 below. We may rename, hide or remove a username that breaks these terms, and submissions are rate-limited to prevent abuse.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of this section.

8.1 Objectionable content and abusive behaviour

Some parts of Origin show content created by other people — a username on the leaderboard, or a friend request. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. Content that is harassing, hateful, threatening, obscene, sexually explicit, defamatory, or that impersonates another person or organisation, is not permitted, and neither is any behaviour intended to harass or intimidate another user.

You can report any username or account from the leaderboard and from a friend request, and you can block an account so that you no longer see it anywhere in Origin. Usernames are also screened automatically when they are chosen.

We review every report and act on it within 24 hours, which may mean removing the content, renaming or suspending the account, or terminating it permanently and barring the person behind it from creating another. You can also reach us directly at originappsupport@gmail.com.

9. Our intellectual property

Origin, its name, logo, design, code, exercise catalogue, copy and artwork are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. These terms transfer no ownership to you.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Origin available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove features, and may update the App automatically (including over-the-air updates to its JavaScript bundle) to fix problems and ship improvements. If we discontinue a paid feature entirely, we will give reasonable notice and, where required, a pro-rata refund of the unused period.

11. Health and safety notice

Origin's workout, body-weight and habit features are for general informational and self-tracking purposes only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and Origin is not a medical device. Consult a qualified professional before starting or changing any exercise or diet programme, especially if you have a health condition. You exercise at your own risk, and you are responsible for the loads, sets and progressions you choose to log and perform.

12. Alarms and reminders

Alarms, reminders and notifications depend on your device's operating system, its power-saving and Do Not Disturb settings, the permissions you grant, and the device being on. They can be delayed or suppressed by factors outside our control. Do not rely on Origin alone for anything safety-critical or time-critical — use a dedicated device or a second alarm for those.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Origin is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost data, or missed events or deadlines, arising out of or relating to your use of Origin. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to Origin is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) USD 50.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages and reasonable legal costs arising from your content, your use of Origin, or your breach of these terms or of applicable law.

16. Termination

You may stop using Origin at any time and delete your account from Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if continuing would create a security or legal risk — with notice where reasonably possible. Sections 6, 9, 13, 14, 15 and 17 survive termination.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA or the UK, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings before your local courts.

We ask that you contact us at originappsupport@gmail.com before commencing proceedings, so that we may attempt to resolve the matter directly.

18. App Store and Google Play terms

The following apply where you obtained Origin from Apple's App Store:

Where you obtained Origin from Google Play, your use is additionally subject to the Google Play Terms of Service, and Google is not a party to this agreement.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version, and we will give notice in the App or by email of material changes before they take effect. Continuing to use Origin after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, stop using the App and delete your account.
